Talking Posts Enchanted Parks
Two Shakespearian characters mysteriously appeared in our bespoke lampposts when they were installed as part of Enchanted Parks in Gateshead.
Inspired by the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, the overall theme of this after-dark arts adventure was 'A Winters Tale'.
Over 10,000 people visited the event at Saltwell Park over 5 consecutive nights. The conversation between the 2 characters lasted 7 minutes and was on a continuous loop.
Commissioned by NewcastleGateshead Initiative in Partnership with Gateshead Council and funded by Arts Council England.
