Creating unforgettable collective experiences

Home Sweet Home Aylesbury

Based on interviews with Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire residents who answered questions about their houses and domestic life, Home Sweet Home reveals a startling slice of life.

Projected onto an existing door and window, Home Sweet Home was a semi permanent video mapping projection underneath the Long Lionel arches in the centre of Aylesbury, HP21. This remained in situ showing on a continuous loop during the hours of darkness each night from approximately 6pm to 11pm from Oct 2013 until Apr 2014.

This was on a public road, so free and accessible to all.

A specially designed weather proof and vandal proof enclosure for the projector, with a thermostat and fans inside, makes this type of long term projection project possible.
